Press Freedom Ranking (171 countries, free -> censored)

+ #62 Togo 15.5
+ #85 Peru 20.9

The Honduran press operates against a backdrop of violence and impunity, which creates serious risks for journalists reporting on corruption, organised crime and electoral processes, and fuels self-censorship. Media concentration and the abuse of the country’s institutions to pressure journalists — notably legal harassment — limit media pluralism and undermine the right to information.

+ #172 Iran 104.1
